We
are absolutely delighted with both mares we bought from W5 Paint
Horses. As well as being well made they both have wonderful temperaments,
being calm and sensible and were not a bit the worse for their month's
quarantine and long journey to

While browsing through websites I had the good fortune to come across Rhonda Wilm's family of horses. I was drawn to quite a few, but ultimately settled for 2 paint mares, one in foal to Tin and her 2 year old daughter by Tin. The broodmare is by Wild Card and was raised by the Wilm's. Throughout the whole process of inquiring, vet work, questions, all long distance and with the tentativeness that is normal in a new-found relationship, I found Rhonda very professional, accurate, conscientious, and knowledgeable. Consulting her about a potential purchase is time well spent. After getting my girls home and having a few days to be around them, I can also say that she has raised some great horses to be around, not only to look at. They are very respectful, well trained and disciplined, and have no bad habits. These horses are a joy to be around. Rhonda has done a flawless job in raising and socializing them to the human animal. I would (and probably will) go back for more.

Buying "Annie" from you has definitely been a good experience from the start. I appreciate all the help you gave during the purchase (vet check, paperwork, etc) and also getting her to Florida.
Annie has turned out to be a terrific horse to own. She is not only an awesome hunt seat horse, but she is sweet, well mannered and willing to please. I would just like to say thank you for all you have done for us.

Thank you for sharing "Elmo" with me, and raising such an incredible animal. He is everything I wanted and needed and after 3 years, continues to be. He truly is a gem that I can trust. He is safe and careful when I am riding him and must sense I am much to old to hit the ground.
Elmo competed extremely well in the United States, when I lived down there, ending up #5 in the State of California (2003) after only 3 shows in Senior Trail at APHA approved shows. He also received reserve champion in TMVPHC in Senior Trail after only 2 shows! Amazing what a great minded horse from Saskatchewan can accomplish.
We had planned on going to the APHA World Show, however, due to injuries I sustained in a car accident , were unable to fulfill that dream.
Thank you again for the fabulous horse, one I will keep and cherish forever.

The mare I purchased from the Wilm's is such a nice tempered horse. She has no resistance in her training and is very willing. Rhonda and Bill are very friendly people and I hope to keep in contact with them.

I think that I have had the best experiences starting colts that have come off of Cowboy (NTS Wild Card) and Tin (Sum Moore Tin). With their very compromising and willing minds, they have come along very quickly; turning into a horse that anyone can ride, ask anything of and to top it all off, look good doing it. Being able to say this from personal experience; these are horses that can ridden in the pasture and then thrown into the show ring the next day and come out on top.

We have bought four fillies from Rhonda and Bill (over the years) and if our trailer was bigger we probably would have more!
The fillies that we have, all have superb minds, they are like big puppies and love to be around people, especially kids. Our daughter always brings out here "town friends" and they always want to see the horses. Some of them have had bad experiences with horses and now we have them riding! When the kids are around the fillies they play tag with them. The "girls" will even steal their toques and run off with them. When I do chores the fillies always have to know what is going on, they will even bunt my butt gently when I bend over to cut strings and push me over!
We were unfortunate to have an accident with one of the mares, but she remained calm and listened to her rider and avoided any serious injuries. The rider who rode through the large culvert , wasn't so lucky! These horses will trust you to the limit. They are not mean and get along with any other horses. One of the fillies even adopted an orphan foal who lost her mom! I could go on forever about these gals, that is how great they are. They are quick learners, do not have any bad habits or any buck in them.

What can I say about my beloved Stretch!!!! He's black beauty!! He's always a gentleman, he's very athletic and he's drop dead gorgeous! Stretch is almost 16.3, built uphill and has lovely movement. We went to our first dressage shows this summer and received very favorable comments from the judges. Clinicians like Betty Wells, Shelley MacDonald (Edmonton) and Elaine Partington have all been very complimentary. Thank you Bill and Rhonda for this exceptional partner. Together, we earned in 2004 - Equine Canada Senior Champion - Training Level.
